![]() My opinions have changed, and I’ve learned so much about life, people and how the world works. ![]() To be completely honest, I’m a completely different person. If you really want to get to know someone are these not better questions? I look back on the past 2 years of my life and so many of my goals and my ideas of what I want to be when I “grow up” have changed. Ask what their dreams are, ask what their passions are. A lot of people expect the generic response, like “a nurse” or “a teacher” but when is the moment you actually “grow up?” Is it when you graduate, or when you get a place of your own? The day you turn 18 and become legal? My question is, why not ask what you want to be right then, in that very moment? Ask questions about what kind of person they want to be. People ask me all the time “what do you want to be when you grow up?” It’s almost like the moment I graduate college or move out, is the moment that I get to decided whatever I want to do with myself.
